DataBrew

Service object for interacting with AWS DataBrew service.

public struct DataBrew: AWSService

Glue DataBrew is a visual, cloud-scale data-preparation service. DataBrew simplifies data preparation tasks, targeting data issues that are hard to spot and time-consuming to fix. DataBrew empowers users of all technical levels to visualize the data and perform one-click data transformations, with no coding required.

Inheritance

AWSService

Initializers

init(client:region:partition:endpoint:timeout:byteBufferAllocator:options:)

Initialize the DataBrew client

public init(
        client: AWSClient,
        region: SotoCore.Region? = nil,
        partition: AWSPartition = .aws,
        endpoint: String? = nil,
        timeout: TimeAmount? = nil,
        byteBufferAllocator: ByteBufferAllocator = ByteBufferAllocator(),
        options: AWSServiceConfig.Options = []
    )

Parameters

  • client: AWSClient used to process requests
  • region: Region of server you want to communicate with. This will override the partition parameter.
  • partition: AWS partition where service resides, standard (.aws), china (.awscn), government (.awsusgov).
  • endpoint: Custom endpoint URL to use instead of standard AWS servers
  • timeout: Timeout value for HTTP requests

init(from:patch:)

Initializer required by AWSService.with(middlewares:timeout:byteBufferAllocator:options). You are not able to use this initializer directly as there are no public initializers for AWSServiceConfig.Patch. Please use AWSService.with(middlewares:timeout:byteBufferAllocator:options) instead.

Methods

batchDeleteRecipeVersion(_:logger:on:)

public func batchDeleteRecipeVersion(_ input: BatchDeleteRecipeVersionRequest, logger: Logger = AWSClient.loggingDisabled, on eventLoop: EventLoop? = nil) -> EventLoopFuture<BatchDeleteRecipeVersionResponse>

Deletes one or more versions of a recipe at a time.

The entire request will be rejected if:

  • The recipe does not exist.

  • There is an invalid version identifier in the list of versions.

  • The version list is empty.

  • The version list size exceeds 50.

  • The version list contains duplicate entries.

The request will complete successfully, but with partial failures, if:

  • A version does not exist.

  • A version is being used by a job.

  • You specify LATEST_WORKING, but it's being used by a project.

  • The version fails to be deleted.

The LATEST_WORKING version will only be deleted if the recipe has no other versions. If you try to delete LATEST_WORKING while other versions exist (or if they can't be deleted), then LATEST_WORKING will be listed as partial failure in the response.

        on eventLoop: EventLoop? = nil,
        onPage: @escaping (Result, ListRulesetsResponse, EventLoop) -> EventLoopFuture<(Bool, Result)>
    ) -> EventLoopFuture<Result>

List all rulesets available in the current account or rulesets associated with a specific resource (dataset).

Parameters:

  • input: Input for request
  • initialValue: The value to use as the initial accumulating value. initialValue is passed to onPage the first time it is called.
  • logger: Logger used flot logging
  • eventLoop: EventLoop to run this process on
  • onPage: closure called with each paginated response. It combines an accumulating result with the contents of response. This combined result is then returned along with a boolean indicating if the paginate operation should continue.

listRulesetsPaginator(_:logger:on:onPage:)

Provide paginated results to closure onPage.

public func listRulesetsPaginator(
        _ input: ListRulesetsRequest,
        logger: Logger = AWSClient.loggingDisabled,
        on eventLoop: EventLoop? = nil,
        onPage: @escaping (ListRulesetsResponse, EventLoop) -> EventLoopFuture<Bool>
    ) -> EventLoopFuture<Void>

Parameters

  • input: Input for request
  • logger: Logger used flot logging
  • eventLoop: EventLoop to run this process on
  • onPage: closure called with each block of entries. Returns boolean indicating whether we should continue.

listSchedulesPaginator(_:_:logger:on:onPage:)

Provide paginated results to closure onPage for it to combine them into one result. This works in a similar manner to Array.reduce<Result>(_:_:) -> Result.

public func listSchedulesPaginator<Result>(
        _ input: ListSchedulesRequest,
        _ initialValue: Result,
        logger: Logger = AWSClient.loggingDisabled,
        on eventLoop: EventLoop? = nil,
        onPage: @escaping (Result, ListSchedulesResponse, EventLoop) -> EventLoopFuture<(Bool, Result)>
    ) -> EventLoopFuture<Result>

Lists the DataBrew schedules that are defined.

This combined result is then returned along with a boolean indicating if the paginate operation should continue.

listSchedulesPaginator(_:logger:on:onPage:)

Provide paginated results to closure onPage.

public func listSchedulesPaginator(
        _ input: ListSchedulesRequest,
        logger: Logger = AWSClient.loggingDisabled,
        on eventLoop: EventLoop? = nil,
        onPage: @escaping (ListSchedulesResponse, EventLoop) -> EventLoopFuture<Bool>
    ) -> EventLoopFuture<Void>

Parameters

  • input: Input for request
  • logger: Logger used flot logging
  • eventLoop: EventLoop to run this process on
  • onPage: closure called with each block of entries. Returns boolean indicating whether we should continue.
